About Us

WHO ARE WE?

Empire was started by two life long friends who wanted to make an impact in the special needs community.

Our CEO, Bret Sinclair is a special education teacher with 15 years of experience working with students of all ability levels. His unique skillset has been an asset in every classroom he has stepped into. Empire embodies his philosophy of compassion and best practices to achieve successful outcomes consistently.

Our President and COO, Rob Krevat, RA, AIA, NCARB, LEED GA is an architect by trade, and has launched several successful entrepreneurial ventures. His role is to handle the non-instructional operations of Empire Behavioral Services and ensure ethical and sustainable practices are adhered to, throughout the agency.

Bret and Rob met while competing alongside one another in the martial arts world in early childhood. Both have competed on a National level and at the Junior Olympics several times. Their dojo (karate school) was heavily involved in teaching karate to special needs and underprivileged children in after school programs. Both Bret and Rob taught as junior instructors in these programs as teenagers, and their experience carries through to today.
